Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Apollo.

Effective date: 15 February 2026

Website: heyapollo.com (the "Service")

Contact: support@heyapollo.com

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service Is

Apollo is a platform where users can discover, discuss, and post reviews about third-party products and services, and where businesses can claim and manage listings/profile pages.

We may add, remove, or change features at any time.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be 18+ to use the Service.

To post a review you must create an account. We require an email address and a username. You may use a pseudonymous email and username.

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity under it.

3. Reviews, Content, and Disclosure of Incentives

You are solely responsible for content you submit (reviews, comments, images, etc.). Do not post content that is deceptive, fraudulent, or materially misleading.

Some reviews may be written after a business invitation that includes a reward or benefit funded by that business (see section 6). If you receive any reward/benefit connected to a review, you agree that Apollo may label your review as "incentivised" (or similar), and you agree to provide any disclosure we reasonably require (for example, confirming whether a reward was received).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • post unlawful, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, or privacy-invasive content;
  • post personal data of others (addresses, phone numbers, private emails, financial details, etc.);
  • impersonate any person or entity;
  • upload malware, attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt the Service;
  • scrape, crawl, or use automated methods to extract data without permission;
  • attempt to reverse engineer or bypass access controls.

We may remove content, restrict visibility, or suspend accounts if we reasonably believe you've breached these Terms.

5. Ownership and License

You keep ownership of the content you submit.

By submitting content, you grant Apollo a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, modify (for formatting, moderation, and presentation), publish, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Service (including making it available to search engines and sharing excerpts/previews).

6. Business Invitations and Rewards (Company-Funded)

Businesses may invite users to leave a review and may fund rewards/benefits in connection with those invitations ("Rewards").

  • Rewards are offered at the discretion of the inviting business and may change, pause, or stop at any time.
  • Apollo may withhold, reverse, or decline to facilitate Rewards where we reasonably suspect fraud, manipulation, policy breaches, or legal risk.
  • Users are responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations related to Rewards they receive.
  • Businesses are responsible for ensuring their invitation campaigns and Rewards comply with applicable laws and do not require or pressure users to post positive reviews.

Apollo does not provide financial advice.

Cryptocurrency disclaimer: Satoshi rewards are digital assets whose value may fluctuate in fiat currency terms. Apollo is not responsible for changes in the value of rewards after they are issued, or for any loss arising from Lightning network transactions, wallet failures, or delays.

7. Claimed Business Profiles

If you claim or manage a business profile, you represent that you have authority to act for that business.

You agree not to harass reviewers or attempt to suppress legitimate reviews through threats or incentives tied to review sentiment.

We may remove, suspend, or reassign claimed profiles if we reasonably believe a claim is inaccurate, unauthorized, or abusive.

8. Third-Party Content, Links, and "Not Advice"

The Service includes third-party products, services, and links. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them.

User reviews are opinions and are not endorsements by Apollo. Nothing on the Service is professional advice.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or accuracy/completeness of content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apollo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

Without limiting the above, Apollo expressly disclaims liability for: Lightning network payment failures or delays; cryptocurrency value fluctuations; third-party wallet service outages or errors; and any loss of funds during transmission over the Lightning network.

11. Termination and Enforcement

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or restrict access at any time to protect the Service, users, businesses, or for legal/compliance reasons.

12. Communications

We may send service messages related to security, account activity, and important updates.

We may also send marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link (or by contacting us). Opting out does not affect essential service messages.

Authentication emails (such as login codes) are essential to the operation of the Service and cannot be opted out of while your account remains active.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

15. Transfer / Restructure

We may transfer (assign) our rights and obligations under these Terms as part of a restructure, incorporation, asset transfer, or sale of the Service. If we do, your rights under these Terms will not be reduced.

16. Contact

Questions or notices: support@heyapollo.com

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Apollo regarding the Service.
